Splendid scene in pure white linen with a splendid openwork embroidery in Richelieu at the point of festoon representing 6 scenes of the life in the Netherlands (see below details of each scene). The edges and the intervals are carried out at the point of Milan, crochet lace or Reticella.
It is a true WONDER and one will be able certainly to frame it under a silk bottom of color of your choice.
Circa 1890 become very appraisal and increasingly rare... piece is not to be missed!

1st table: Woman transporting the water which it has just been drawn from well.
2nd table: Woman accompanied by her goose, spinning the flax, with the background, a pretty windmill.
3rd table: A couple dancing near water,and the gulls fly in a cloudy sky.
4th table: A young woman playing with her child in the field, close to another windmill.
5th table: A woman close to her house spins wool assisted by her cat.
6th table: A young man fishes crayfish in the river of his village.
Practically all these scenes are decorated with stylized tulips or flowers.
