Superb and long christening dress in damask of good quality in color white snow with design of fine stripes. The dress is open at the back (called 'hide diapers) and is folded as it was done at the time. All edges of this pretty piece were adorned with beautiful broderie anglaise.
The dress crosses in the back with a silk ribbon that had to be eliminated because worn. The knot can be tied in front or behind depending on its desire.
Very nice finish! In excellent condition, it was still with the label of sale. The silk ribbon was worn so it will need to be replaced.
