Marvelous festooned tablecloth in fine batiste white linen with a drawn thread openwork embroidered with pattern of small wheels. The circumference is decorated with a gorgeous filet crochet lace representing bunches of grapes and vine leaves in Art Deco style and completed by scalloped small barbs.
Made entirely by hand!
Piece dating from about 1900.
Dimensions: 156cm x 151cm with lace included.
The piece is in perfect condition, just a small mark of laundry done in black India ink in one corner of the square (it will be possible to remove it with some bleach applied with cotton swab and rinse several in vinegar water or a stain remover special ink)
All my old linen is cleaned by hand, starched and then ironed with care, ready to be used and grace your interior. |
