Elegant table service consisting of a damask tablecloth linen thread and silk white and six matching napkins. The damask pattern is a Louis XVI style with beautiful wreaths of vines and berries, acanthus leaves, grapes and grape fruits that I have not managed to identify (plum or peach?) And cartridges in the border.
Two monograms initials MD decorate the central part of the tablecloth as well as all the napkins.
The hems have been hand-made, and the white embroidery at the point of plumetis. This full-service date of around 1890-1900 years
Dimensions: 175cm x 161cm approximately 6-serviettes: 82.5 cm x 71cm
This 7-piece set is in excellent condition, just a small hole that was filled at the back with a patch on a napkin and a few tiny rust spots that I missed on the tablecloth.
All my old linen are cleaned by hand, starched and then ironed with care, ready to be used and grace your interior. |
