The floral cut work is quite amazing.The entire piece is hand embroidered in golden ecru hundreds of hand worked bridges link the magnificently cut floral design all with meticulous attention to detail.The outer edges are particularly cut away to create a very lacy look. Super piece of very fine hand worked linen fully laundered and it's in great undamaged condition.....A fine piece drapes well and certain to impress. This tablecloth was made by professional embroiderers from Island of Madeira (Portugal). Many Autumn flowers and acorn. Such a beauty !! The shape is rectangular. Circa 1930-40.
